Birdwatching from the Feline Perspective
Tuesday, December 28, 2010
Sometimes ya just gotta really get *into* your work ya know? Foxy is adamant about her birdwatching. Since one of the birdfeeders blew off the hook, she decided what better way to keep a watchful eye than to just sit in the feeder itself.
If that doesn’t work..prepare yourself for a longer stay. Get comfortable.
Sometimes they see you coming..
And sometimes they watch you from above…
But in the end.. it all pays off..
Have a beautiful day!

oh that was cute poor foxy!!!
GREAT! What good shots, Kimmy! Did you ever notice how Foxy is a clone of my Sam? I could have sworn Sam hightailed it over to your house. If we tossed them both into a room, I'll bet we'd never know which was which. Amazing.
XOXOXO
Everyone's got their eyes on the prize. Glad the birds got the seed and no one got the bird! LOL
I was so tempted to put out one of those seed cake feeders, but all they do is attract starlings and I sure don't want to do that.
Great pictures especially of Foxxy and of that little chickadee.
Love you blog, today. Your Foxy is such a sweetheart, and your bird photos are wonderfull.
Love it Kimmy...what a sweetie she is. We have the suet cake feeders too and the chickadees and downy woodpeckers love it. Only time we take it down is the summer. I really should try to make the time to take pictures again. We have so many pretty birds right now.
That Foxy girl doesn't give up does she? LOL What better occupation for a cat than to watch the birds?

Hi There, Luckily, we don't have any cats around us or our house. I love cats --but I also love having TONS of birds at my feeders. IF there was a cat nearby--the birds would go elsewhere I'm sure...
Wow---your kitty is gorgeous though!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy
Hi Kimmy,
Great pictures, enjoyed this post.
A Very Happy New Year to you filled with blessings. hugs - Nita
Foxy is very diligent in her profession. She sure is beautiful. The pictures are just marvelous.
Kimmy,
Your kitty is gorgeous; so dignified waiting so patiently :) I love all your shots but particulary the one in the brush...very lovely~
Terrific, Kimmy! Sam used to love lying on our bed and watching the birds around the feeders but I think he was more interested in watching for cats in his yard. Buddy hasn't shown much interest in the birds so far but he has the cats on their toes. They got a rude shock the first time they encountered him because he's a LOT faster than Sam was!
I place a shepherds hook outside a bedroom window so my cats can enjoy watching the feeders. I enjoyed going through and viewing your posts. The sandhills are fabulous, I have went to Grand Island , NE to watch spring migration. They are so thick they look like the corn.
Dropping by to say HAPPY NEW YEAR, KIMMY!
