Annnddd We’re Out!

Woo-Hoo for Christmas Break!!! Let’s hope these next 2 weeks go by slowly and aren’t hectic.

It’s been so cold lately and I’ve been so busy, I haven’t had time or energy to get out with the camera so I’m going thru the archives today. Two years ago on this day we had a little dusting of snow on the ground and a TON of starlings in the yard. I took these shots through the frosty glass.

It was crazy!

Forward-wind to last yr on this day and the weather was a little different. It was sunny and not near as cold, a perfect day for a a sunset stroll on the boardwalk at Tigrett Wildlife Management Area.

What was the weather like a yr or two ago in your neck of the woods?

Love these photos, last years or not :D
I remember exactly what last year's weather was here. We had 2 ft of snow, lol, not easy to forget. Then, it didn't even get a chance to melt at all and right after Christmas, we got another foot. Wow, what a winter it was.
Kimmy, you know your break is going to fly by, sorry to say that. When we were all in school as students, the time sort of languished by and it was great; then the older we got, the time started picking up speed and now? Omg, 2 weeks is 2 days! But no matter what, I hope you have the BEST break and have tons of fun :D XOXOXO

One year ago we had exactly what we are having now, snow and ice.
Very nice photos.

Isn't it fun to have a nice break from work/school??? I hope these two weeks go by calmly and joyfully for you.

I love to go back in the archives also... I assume that our weather last year was about what you had. I don't remember having any cold or bad weather close to Christmas last year.

Thank Goodness we don't have Starlings here... I've seen a few around occasionally --but they aren't at my feeders (thank goodness).

Merry Christmas.
Hugs,
Betsy

Lovely shots!

First let me say...I HATE starlings. You never see just one and if they find your feeder, forget it! Anyway a year ago, it looked just about the same as it does here today. Snow and sun. Darn near blinding out there with all that glare coming off the snow.
